“Ten Minutes” is a project about Arab migrants in Chile. Ten migrants participated of the project. Ten minutes had Dalia, a Palestinian woman refugee in Iraq, to meet her family for last time before coming to Chile.
“Ten Minutes” was born from the research that Andrea Dillon came to do in Chile through a Fulbright scholarship. Andrea is an American specialist in Arabic studies and Arab speaker. I associated with her to participate in the research with the photographic work and multimedia.
All ten participants of the project were born in Middle East, there mother language is Arab and almost all of them are Muslim. Some came as refugee, others just searching for better opportunities.
