Human Topography

“Human Topography” is a portraits series that investigates the relationship of contemporary urban people located nude in a natural environment.

The photographs were taken in different wilderness settings around the world, and the people portrayed come from different countries. These people are not necessarily nudists, they simply decided to partake in this exercise where they portray themselves naked in a natural environment.

Several questions remain open with this project: is this relationship between nudity and wilderness fluid or artificial? What happens when the contemporary individual emulates the natural state of ancient primitive beings living naked in the wild? Hoy does the subjects feel with their nudeness? How does a naked body inhabit a naked space? And so on.

This project is not finished… or may be it is.
