My artistic practice centers on portraiture\u2014of living and non-living subjects\u2014as a space where the anthropological, the social, and the symbolic converge. I see the image as a trace, an emotional territory, a document, and a question.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My training has been independent, driven by curiosity and discipline.
